Valentín was born in 1987 in San Felipe, Chile. In 1998 he leave the formal education and began his training at the Raúl Pizarro Painting Academy, then in 2007 Master in Art with a mention in sculpture, at the School of Fine Arts in Valparaíso, Chile. In 2012 he began his architectural studies at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. In 2014 he is co-founder of the “Claraboya Atelier” project. The same year he joined the collective “Itinerante Latinoamericano”. In the following years, between 2015 and 2019, he exhibited in various places, highlighting Argentina, Mexico and France. During 2019, an interdisciplinary research project on “Prehistory in the Aconcagua Valley” begins, linking archaeology, anthropology and art, ending this three-year process with an exhibition in 2022.

Gradually he incorporated multiple techniques into his artistic expression, such as blacksmith, photography and pottery, as well as traditional techniques and materials. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions of international and national where he has won prizes and distinctions.
