Cordilleras Invisibles

(Invisible Mountain Ranges)

Central Zone, Chile, 2020

The Selk-Nam people inhabited the southern tip of America. According to their worldview, the world originated in “Cordilleras Invisibles” (Invisible Mountain Ranges). Taking this poetic figure as a reference, I embarked on an expedition and decided to explore the mountain ranges, the Andes and the coast, for two months I took photographs in the infrared spectrum, to trying to reveal small glimpses of these Invisibles Mountain Ranges.

This project is still in development and most of the pieces remain as unpublished work.
